🟢 Benazir Kafaalat Program: Payment Increased

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has taken a significant step to assist economically vulnerable families. The quarterly financial aid for women registered under the Benazir Kafaalat Program has been officially increased from Rs. 13,500 to Rs. 14,500.

To ensure that the financial aid reaches the most deserving families across Pakistan, BISP has set specific eligibility rules based on the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER). You are eligible for the Rs. 14,500 payment if you meet the following conditions:

  • Poverty Score (PMT): Your family's Proxy Means Test (PMT) score in the NSER database must be below 32.
  • Valid Identity: The female applicant must possess a valid, non-expired Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).
  • Employment Status: No immediate family member should be a current or retired regular government employee.
  • Asset Limits: The family must not own a registered vehicle (other than a motorcycle) or significant agricultural land.

Details of the New Stipend Increases

Along with the Kafaalat payment increase, the stipends for children's education and health have also been raised to further support registered families:

  • Benazir Nashonuma Program: To improve the health and nutrition of mothers and children, the stipend has been increased by Rs. 500 per child.
  • Benazir Taleemi Wazaif: To encourage children to attend school and reduce dropout rates, the educational stipend has also been increased by Rs. 500 per student.

How to Register or Update Your NSER Survey?

If you checked your status above and it shows "No Record Found," or if your payments have been paused, you need to complete or update your Dynamic Survey. The government has established dynamic registry desks at all BISP Tehsil offices.

  1. Visit your nearest BISP Tehsil Office early in the morning to avoid long queues.
  2. Bring your original CNIC, your children's NADRA B-Form (for Taleemi Wazaif), and a recent electricity or gas bill.
  3. Provide accurate information about your household income and assets to the data entry operator.
  4. Complete your biometric verification (thumb impression) on the spot to successfully submit your survey.
