Students must meet all of the following criteria to qualify for the CM Punjab E-Bike Scheme:
- Must be enrolled as a regular student in a government university or government college in Punjab
- Must have a valid student ID card from their institution
- Must be a resident of Punjab with a Punjab address on their CNIC or B-form
- Must not already own a personal vehicle (motorcycle or car)
- Family monthly income must be below a specified threshold (details verified at application)
- Must be between 18 and 28 years of age
How to Apply Online: Step by Step
- Visit the official portal: Go to ebike.punjab.gov.pk on your computer or mobile browser.
- Create your account: Register using your CNIC number and a valid mobile number. An OTP will be sent to your mobile for verification.
- Fill in the application form: Enter your personal details, university or college name, enrollment number, and family income information accurately.
- Upload required documents: Scan and upload your CNIC, current student ID card, enrollment certificate from your institution, and a recent utility bill as proof of residence.
- Submit and wait for merit list: After submission, your application will be reviewed and a merit score will be calculated based on your income, distance from institution, and academic standing.

Installment Structure
The e-bikes provided under this scheme are distributed on an interest-free installment basis. The down payment and monthly installment amounts depend on the specific bike model allocated. Full installment details including monthly amounts and tenure are communicated to selected applicants at the time of allocation. No interest or markup is charged on any installment under this government scheme.
How Selection Works
Selection is merit based. Students with lower family income, greater distance between their home and institution, and higher academic grades receive priority in the merit list. Students from remote districts of Punjab are also given additional weight in the scoring to ensure the benefit reaches underserved areas.

What happens if a selected student drops out of their institution?
The bike remains the student's responsibility under the installment agreement. If a student drops out before completing their installments, the remaining balance becomes immediately payable as per the terms signed at the time of allocation.
Are private university students eligible?
No. The scheme currently covers only students enrolled in government universities and government degree colleges in Punjab. Private institution students are not included in the current phase.
