LAHORE: In a major relief measure, the Punjab Government has launched the "Roshan Gharana" scheme. Households consuming less than 300 units of electricity are eligible for interest-free financing to install solar panels.
The Bank of Punjab will facilitate the application process. "This is a step towards sustainable energy and reducing the burden of utility bills on the common man," stated the CM.
