Join Pakistan Army as a Soldier (Sipahi) 2026

The Pakistan Army has officially announced its latest recruitment drive for 2026. Young, energetic, and patriotic citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan are invited to join the armed forces and serve the nation.

Online registration for the Soldier (Sipahi) batch will commence on 2nd March 2026 and will remain open until 22nd May 2026. Candidates can apply for various trades depending on their educational qualifications and physical fitness.

Available Categories & Educational Requirements

The Pakistan Army is hiring for multiple trades. The educational requirements for each category are as follows:

  • Sipahi General Duty & Military Police: Minimum Matriculation or equivalent.
  • Sipahi Clerk: Minimum Intermediate (FA/FSc) with at least a 'C' Grade. Candidates with higher education and computer diplomas will be preferred.
  • Sipahi Nursing Assistant: FSc (Pre-Medical) is required.
  • Driver / Technical Trade: Minimum Matric with relevant driving license or technical diploma.
  • Cook / Sanitary Worker: Middle pass to Primary pass (illiterate candidates can also apply for sanitary worker).

Physical Standards & Age Limit

To be eligible for the Pakistan Army recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria as of 23rd May 2026:

  • Age Limit: 17.5 years to 23 years. (Relaxation of 1 year for graduates, 2 years for families of martyrs, and up to 3 years for specific backward areas).
  • Height (General Duty/Technical): Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
  • Height (Military Police): Minimum 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm).
  • Height (Clerk/Cook): Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).

Army Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process for Pakistan Army soldiers involves the following stages. Candidates must clear each stage sequentially to proceed:

  • 📝 1. Initial Registration: Apply online at the official portal or physically visit the nearest AS&RC.
  • 🧠 2. Written/Intelligence Test: Basic MCQs covering Math, English, Pakistan Studies, and General Knowledge.
  • 🏃 3. Physical & Medical Test: Includes a 1.6 km run in 8 minutes, push-ups, sit-ups, and chin-ups followed by an initial medical checkup.
  • 👮 4. Final Interview: Assessment by the selection board at the recruitment center.

How to Apply Online?

Interested candidates can register through two methods:

  1. Online Registration: Visit the official website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk between 2nd March and 22nd May 2026. Fill out the application form with your exact details.
  2. Offline Registration: If you do not have internet access, you can physically visit your nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RC) or Regimental Center along with your original documents and passport-size photographs.
