PSER Survey 2026 Punjab: Online Registration & CNIC Verification for BISP & CM Ration Card

Overview: "Khud Mukhtar Punjab" Vision

Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has launched a landmark relief initiative under the "Khud Mukhtar Punjab" (Self-Reliant Punjab) vision. The Government of Punjab, through the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Department, is providing free assistive devices to persons with disabilities (PWDs) and deserving senior citizens across the province.

This scheme aims to eliminate the financial burden on low-income families while ensuring freedom of mobility, independence, and empowerment for special persons.

What Assistive Devices are Provided?

Eligible citizens can receive high-quality medical and mobility aids absolutely free of cost. The primary devices being distributed include:

  • Custom Wheelchairs: For ease of mobility and transportation.
  • Hearing Aids: To significantly improve communication abilities.
  • Other Assistive Tools: Artificial limbs and physical support devices tailored to specific medical needs.

Eligibility Criteria for Free Devices

To ensure transparent distribution, the Social Welfare Department has set the following mandatory criteria:

  • Residency: The applicant must be a citizen and permanent resident of Punjab.
  • Identification: Must possess a valid Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or B-Form (for minors).
  • Disability Certificate: A valid disability certificate issued by the District Disability Assessment Board is strictly mandatory.
  • Mental Disability Cases: In cases of severe mental disability, the guardian's CNIC must be provided along with the application.
